Species #2:

and i'm not sure if this is the same species but it was growing with them:

found: in woods, growing in acidic soil (under pine trees) gills: cream to brown bruising: none noticed cap: light to dark brown stem: creamy, solid
Species #3:

found: in woods, growing on fallen tree gills: u/k bruising: untested cap: red/purple, wrinkly (maybe from age though) stem: n/a
lastly, and least important but craziest looking (and super hard to take a decent pic of..):

Wow quite a varied and colorful hunt !.......nice pics.
Dont eat any of these cause I could be wrong and may kill you but for reference purposes your first shroom is Pluteus cervinus the 'Deer Mushroom'
#2 Is Clitocybe species.....many similiar to that....the one growing with them cant tell from pic
#3 Is a most probably a 'Conk' type shelf fungus....would need to see bottom first
would also need to see bottom of the last one first but from here would say probably Laccaria laccata group.
none are active of course......for I.D. you always want a close pic shot from underneath showing gills etc......and practice making spore prints and see what color each shroom has like Clitocybes can range from white to pinkish spores.....just cut stem off and lay cap gills down on paper for long enough time and see what color the ultra fine dust is it drops on the paper from the gills.....this helps seperate many groups is the color.
general location can help too........
On your Deer Mushroom the distinct smell (tho not ALWAYS that noticable) helps to recognize it when found as does the VERY interesting spore color.

Thank you so much for the proper ID info!!!
The first one is perhaps Pluteus Cervinus, hard to tell... the habitat is consistent with this mushroom, as it grows from wood or wood debris. veil absent, and the thickness of the stem is what I would expect of the species.... But not positive.
The picture labeled "I'm not sure if this is same the same species, is probably not the same species as the two first pics with white gills, but the one just above it look to be the same mushroom. However, seeing as I cannot tell the underside of the clump of those brown mushrooms I can only guess they may be the same. The brown ones (pic 5, 6) Look to be Chrysomphalina chrysophylla.
The white ones in the 3rd and 4th pics may be a species of Lactarius(???). I'm not too familiar with this genus at all,- Eris??
The red one growing from wood is Fomitopsis cajanderi. http://www.mykoweb.com/CAF/species/Fomitopsis_cajanderi.html trippy find!
And the last winkley one appears to be from the genus Helvella, casually known as an Elfin Saddle. I love the mushrooms in this genus- they're so cool looking!
