wow. i'm surprised i didnt find a single post concerning this amazing album (i typed geogaddi in the search box, no results).
Everybody who is into electronic music such as aphex twin, autechre, or any of that good stuff from warp records would have to check out this new Boards of Canada. It has had excellent reviews from various websites and magazines, and believe me, its as good as they all say.
This cd is like an entire mushroom trip with so many details you might think you're making up sounds as you listen to it.
For most people i know, the album gets better and better as you listen to it a lot which is not something you can experience in a lot of cd's.
I know theres tons of good music to trip to, but trust me, you dont want to miss this one. i know i sound like a damn salesman or some shit but its just very important to me that everybody gets to experience this kind of sound, with or without mushrooms. check out this site and listen to some samples

I bought it but I don't like it as much as what I've heard from thier earlier work.
Still a good album.

yea aphex and autechre, the 2 a's
they are prolly my favorite electronic
i got a few boc songs a little while ago but dont remember what they sounded like, ill have to check em out again, thanks for the info

its too... well its too something for me... i am not sure what it is too much of, but i just cant get into it... it does not click like the other music i listen to... who knows

BoC sounds quite different from afx and ae so i really shouldnt have compared them. They just happen to be on the same excellent label (well aphex left it after DrukQs). Geogaddi is just really really really suitable for shrooms i think.
even tho the music can be a bit haunting at times, but if u can handle that, you're in for a good time.

I don't remember which song it is by Boards of Canada...but it has a subliminal message in it...when the part is played backwards, you hear "A god with horns..." I don't know how many of there songs have subliminal messages in them, but i would not want to listen to that when under the influence of psychedelics!

theres all the tracks with weird things in them, played backwards and you can download them too.
and like vkk said, dont worry about this stuff. not even on shrooms can you pick up this stuff no matter how distorted the sound may seem.
