[Noob Alert] Names of mushies in relation to levels?

Right, i do appologise if this has been covered 101 times. As coming from a busy forum (everyonedoesit.com) i know how annoying it can be. However could do with it answered fairly quickly. So here goes...
I have only ever done shrooms whilst in amsterdam and we did mexicans. However after looking at the site, and seeing the different levels of trips, i was wondering is there any info on the names of shrooms in relation to the level?
For example im pretty sure mexican are level one, however whats a level two shroom and so on and so forth.
Cheers in advance for any info!

The levels correspond to the intensity of the effects, which depends on the amount of drug, which in most cases is directly proportional to the amount (weight of mushrooms) ingested.
There are other factors that influence this too:
wet/dry species (but not really among cubensis... between cubensis and other species yes) the substrate that the mushrooms were grown on the individual taking the drug

sorry i thought that was the point in this forum to inform us correctly? But surely if i was to take 10g of fresh mexicans, the effects would be different than 10g of amazonian XTC right?
Im really into my MDMA/E and want to try the Amazonian XTC shrooms, however im scared that they may be too intense! However if i only ingested like say 5 grams fresh would i be as strong as say 15g fresh mexican?

there's no such thing as XTC mushrooms.
mexican and amazonian are the same species, psilocybe cubensis. they are different geographical strains, and have the same potency roughly. 10 grams fresh should be fine with MDMA, i've done 2 hits of strong pure mdma then followed up with 2.5 grams of dried mushrooms (equivalent to 20-30g fresh).
and i was referring to the everyone does it (???) forums.

Short answer: No.
Long answer: No.
Calling them XTC mushrooms was a marketing move. While you may feel empathogenic effects from psilocybin, the overall experience is completely different from MDMA. It wouldn't be the first time a seller used misinformation to make their shrooms seem more exotic and wild than they actually are.
That's why The Shroomery exists!

They're all the same chemical. Psilocybin.

find out what species of mush they are. all cubenis strains have about the same potency, but i know in amsterdam they sell other species (pan cyan, azure...) that are way more potent.
but they all have the same chemical, you totally reach a level 4 on mexicans, you just have to eat more than 20 grams fresh.

Roughly 17g is a mild trip.
You laughed your ass off and "got real confused".
Say you ate that whole "box" your self. That would not be a mild trip at all, by most peoples standards.
