I bought some Heavenly Blue seeds which I'm germinating. My question is I have Morning Glory growing as a weed everywhere. White flowers are blooming, but I can't find any seeds. Inside each of the flowers I can find the pistil and stamen, but no seed. Where are the seeds?

ive seen plenty of morning glory vines that didnt produce seeds. but you need to wait for the flower to fall off and the spot where it was to form into a seedpod. if u just cut the vine down (not all the way), and put it in a bag and take it home, whats left should regrow by the following season. take your morning glory vine and shake it over a buncha newspapers. the seeds should all fall out, but you may need to manualy remove a few pods yourself. theres 4 seeds in each pod. wait till later in the season when the flowers are falling off, you will see when the pods are brown and ready to drop the seeds. i cant believe noone takes pics of these pods for newbs, cause erowids pix suck.

Thanks! I planted a hundred Douglas Fir on a hillside this spring, and just spent the afternoon cutting away Morning Glory vines that had wrapped around them. Now I know what to do. I found the seeds, by the way, but I could see that they weren't ready.

I bought 10 packs of heavenly blues; many germinated, but I couldn't keep them alive. The ones I'm talking about now are wild ones and they're white. They're all over: blackberries and morning glory seem to be the generic weed this time of year. I just looked outside and didn't see a yellowish tint at the center of the flower. Does that mean they're not Pearly Gates? Is it possible these are not the right ones?

yeah those are wild ipomea, they contain roughly 30% of the LSA's of cultivated ipomea, but just as much nasties wich u would be getting x3, wich isnt advisable.
how did u sow the ones u bought?
