This syringe I bought a month ago from a reputable vendor (keeping his name private since he is reliable and I am sure he will be sending me replacements) grew this ugly stuff. Notice how the mold only grew where the spore solution came in contact with the rye grain. Anyone want to help me identify it?

Why arent you shaking the jars? From what I see, thats healthy... Those little white clumps could very well be mycelium, just more dense there. Asuming that the rye is to be used as spawn- the jar should of been shaken at least twice a day.

Once again, I dont see any contanamation.... YET

is looks like the beginnings of Trich mold to me. I dunno. maybe I am tripping. This jar doesnt look like all my other jars.

That doesn't look good if its supposed to be Psilocybe cubensis. It might be ok if its Panaeolus cyanescens but even that is questionable.
