I've had both for about 2 years. The coffee plant hasn't done anything but grow. it's eight stems with 3-4 sets of leaves. I doubt it will put out beans in my climate/windowsill.

I've grown salvia, that stuff grows fast! Had a huge plant but it self destructed under its own weight...

Should have made some cuttings and rooted them and had more plants.

That's how Salvia propagates in the wild (Keep in mind, the seeds are seldomly viable), it grows till it can't support itself, and then breaks and falls to the ground, where it roots itself and becomes a clone. It will root with incredible ease.

My problem is that I can only get it to root in high humidity. But then it outgrows the humidity chamber I have and I have to acclimate it to pretty much no humidity. It takes forever and most of them die. It looks like one of my 2 cuttings will die.

Tomato.. that's about it. My other plants come up annually on their own. I have all kinds of different flowers, mint herbs, and other stuff.

Yeah, I know...
To be honest I didn't really like salvia that much and it was taking up too much room

Yes, I knew that from the start. Salvia's just not my thing though.
To be honest, I get way more of a kick from chilli's than I do salvia. I love spicey food and the capsaicin gives me a crazy endorphin rush!
