Pulling Aborts off a cluster

used the search function an im gettin pretty good at it but could not find any info on this subject. Will this mess up the cluster an when im tearin them off do you think it will cause other shrooms in the cluster to abort

Picking it all at once is your best bet unless the aborts are isolated. Aborts generally don't start rotting before the mature fruits are ready to pick.

Yeah once the big guys are fully opened pick everything

if there are a bunch of big ones and 1 or 2 mediums that arent done growing, you can be careful and try to pick only the big ones and let the other couple finish but its better to harvest all at once

You can pick individual mature fruits from a cluster by cutting them off just above the base with a sharp knife. Don't wiggle or otherwise stress the rest of the cluster. The aborts will sit there just fine until the remainder of the cluster is ready to harvest.
