Where Can I Buy Good Boletus Edulis Mushrooms?

So I've been reading this book lately about all different kinds of mushrooms and it talks about how Boletes are widely enjoyed as a gourmet mushroom. It also mentions that when they are full grown they are likely to often be infested with maggots. In spite of this, I would really like to try some but obviously I want to be careful about where I buy them from. I guess you would normally buy them sliced and dried out but then you can make a soup with them and they will absorb the moisture. I found one site that appears to be based out of Poland and this is all that they sell. I was wondering if anyone has already had a good experience with a particular website though? Thanks in advance.

Can't help you with any web sites. I pick my own B edulis and if I run out I just buy them dried from the supermarket.

If you can find them at a local supermarket then you must be in a less rural area than myself. I'm lucky if I can find Portabellos at mine. Thanks for the response.
Does anybody else know of a website maybe?

You can find them dried in most areas now. Look for them by their other, more common name, Porcini. I'm blessed to live in an area where we can pick them every fall. Mrs rabbit goes nuts and sometimes fills her pillow case so full she can't carry it and I have to make two trips... We like to stock up and dry them. You'll find them in the shade in well drained pine and birch forests, usually on a steep slope. RR
