Rooting the ganja

Ok, we went over how the rooting itself is done but this is to show that once you have it down you can pretty much start roots on just about any part of the plant.
it's all a matter of balancing the humidity and the airflow. Oh yeah on the post where I tell how to make a automatic cutting chamber that does it in the root cube I forgot to mention that the PMP will also work great for cuttings but you have to ad the ultrasonic if you want it fully automatic. Mist a few times a day if you don't like the ultrasonic idea but it is much better cause it coats the plants with a much finer coat of moisture. Why is it better? big droplets on the leaves are a good place for rot to start that is also why we want constant airflow. The success rate is much higher then with domes.

I was always under the impression that you needed to take cuttings from a branch that has 2-3 nodes. Will a leaf develop new shoots after awhile?
One time, a friend showed me some cuttings he had done. The crazy fucker clipped the tips of the leaves, dipped them in rooting hormone and put them in potting soil expecting them to grow.

You know I've never tried growing one out I may just do one to see. i dought it because then people would get hundreds of cuttings each batch from each plant.
I have got the tip of a leaf to root also but not in soil. The real key if I can make this make sense is to keep the cutting as dry as possiable but keeping the humidity as high as you can.

actually if done correctly with control enviroment it can be done, leaf rooting is one way to get new clones plants. btw i have done many leaf rooting, but is very tricky and slow in forming to a stemmed plant.

so are you saying to not put the cutting in water? to instead get a humidifier (cheap) and place it near it maybe on a window seal to get moisture from the air for roots?
if this is what you mean, it seems way harder than placing in water, why cant i jsut place it in water?

Will this cutting actually grow? I thought you need some stem to get a proper growing clone.
I thought i read somewhere that this type of cutting will root, but will never flower or get bigger.

to all my knowledge rooting leaves will no grow into plants. i have seen rooted leaves sit under light fo about 3 months then just dying from old age. i hear tissue culturing can be done but have yet to see any real results.

Sometimes the leaf will actually grow into a plant but it's not worth doing I was just showing that roots can be started from any part of the plant this stuff about needing so many nodes and taking from only lower branches and crap are just that crap.
Now tissue culture use to be hard to do but if you can grow shrooms on agar then you can do tissue culture. I'm not gonna get all into it but it's not that hard.
