boiling water?

i need to do about 25 jars today-i just remembered that i was out of mineral water-would boiling tap water be effective?if i boil the crap out of it?
i am using birdseed substrate-how long should i boil?
im broke and cant afford 2 bucks for any mineral water-

do you have city water with chlorine? or do you have a natural well? i live in the stix, and get my water from a well we dont have city water, I just use that, boil it first, if you have city water, with all the chlorine, I would be wary of using it, I would wait till you do have 2 bucks for mineral water..

Here at the SporeLab we use only the freshest, purest, natural spring water from Mt. Elphie but in the past I have also used well water, city water, creek water and after boiling, it all seems to work ok.

ganja afoaf never uses that touchy queery spring water, he always uses good ol fashioned chemical laden city water and never seems to have a problem at all... if you do run into problems boiling the water then letting it sit for 24 hours will rid it of chlorine and other stuff... but afoaf has found its not necessary i would recomend trying it straght from the tap, it will most likely work fine.......... adapt those spores damnit... if we can drink we need to teach our babies shrooms to also... but seriously it all depends on what your water is like, but usally its gonna be fine.

arizona has the 2nd worst water in the US... yet it worked fine for this guy i know.

great cause i just did 25 jars with good ole tap water(boiled for 20 minutes first)
