not the greatest price... and yes, you could, but it will take probably 40-50 hours of work to process and extract all that cactus.

65 lbs is A LOT, $245 is a steal for that much material, great opportunity for a wicked profit margin.

Pretty overpriced.

And no, it's not a steal. it'd be about 6.5 pounds dry. The majority would be the core. So, if you compare it to your dry cacti, which is all outer skin, it isn't too much. And unknown strength?

I've had segments a little over a foot be 6-7 pounds. So ten of those...

The good part is that it is the price shipped. To me, it would all depend on how many actual cuttings you're getting. If it's a ton of 1 pound cuttings, you could build a whole awesome fence. If it's 10 6 pound ones... that's a lot of money for 6 plants.

Either way, the original poster seems freaked out, which probably means he wants to extract them. Should've bought dry stuff then, so just *plant* these cacti.
