The storm just dropped its payload... Its going to take a few more days to see if anything will come from Barry..
I bet its going to take a few storms lined up over a couple weeks in order to see much change.. The same conditions in Texas last year gave is a slow start to the season and it took a good two months to get the ball rolling..

The ground was and is too dry... Its going to take a few good storms in a row in order to get things soggy and producing...

I'm going down to Mississippi to see some family and I'm flying. I only wish I could bring some back home . They live just off the coast.

Found 3 smallish cubes in SW Florida just now, but it took me 4 months of slogging around!

That's from a week and a half ago or so. Lately I've been finding about this many every single day I check (which is nearly every day). West central Florida represent.

The orange ones are Chanterelles (wild edibles, tasty, yum), the blue ones next to it are copelandia cyan(forgettherestofthespellingeanys) and the rest are beautiful cubes.

I found these under a young long-neddle pinetree and thatch palmeddows.three days ago. there always in the shaded areas. Sometimes I find three edibles on the same cowpie at the same time! Have you ever seen that? They are comming up rite through the water or a puddle might form around it. Looks awesome will try to get pics of that. and lots of fat hairy-spiders hangin around eye level and up to the tops of the trees. Very amazing criters indeed. Very painful bite. I haven't seen any snakes yet. owls, frogs and bats all around me. But I love it! Enjoy: [url= ] [IMG]
