Haven't had much time to look this year but I know there's some Pan Subbals out there waiting for me. More rain tonight . Any New Englanders getting lucky?

((edit: I guess I should have been more clear these are not subbalteatus.)) Took these today. Picked one to print (Probably multiple species in there but didn't strike me as active) expected a brown print but it came out black. Found in horse poo.
I'm going to spend some more time out there the next few days so expect an update. I'll brush up on my terminology so I can give an accurate description of these little bastids.
I wish you all a safe fun and productive summer.

I have been finding a bounty of Pans lately- many with black prints. But I have realized there are about a dozen different Pan species. Most look relatively similar, with black print, so I dunno..... But on a lot of the black print ones, there was some crazy blueing at the base of the stems. Okay now I'm just rambling. Nice finds man!

Strange looking subbs, could be just the weather I guess, but I've never seen any that look like those.

Those are interesting looking. Some in there have yellowish caps.. if that's the case, they aren't subbalteatus.
You should take some better photos, with a description. They look interesting.

They are most likely Panaeolus semiovatus, at least they look like the semiovatus I find in these parts. A quick check for an annulus on the stipe should rule out subbalteatus.
