Read a book called 'the mushroom cultivator', often your local library's will have it.

Any basic microbiology book will have lots of info on agar/petri use...

Do a google search on 'AGAR' and 'PETRI DISH' / 'HOW TO" ....etc ..

does the mycellium have to be in the right conditions to produce fruit...or can you basiclly just watch the fun guys grow in a closed dish
