Honey Experiment <<-- Trying some new things... maybe?

Hey all,
Ok here is the story, this time last year I dried and stored as many subs (Psilocybe subaeruginosa) in two jars of honey as I could. I did this for this reason that the active chemicals are supposed to leak into the honey, and it seemed to work, the honey was turning blue although it was hard to see cause there were so many mushrooms crammed in the jar.
Anyways fastword to now and had still kept the two jars unopened as I never really had the urge to trip and wanted to see how potent the honey would become.
So now what I have done is gently heated the honey as seen below:

When the honey got nice and runny (ooo.. a ryhme..sorry) i mushed the shrooms around a bit then filtered the honey back into a jar:
This is the jar just after the honey was poured into it:

Now about 1hour later when it has cooled:

Ok so I still had the left over shrooms and not sure if they would have and psilocin left in em but didn't want to just chuck them out. So I heated them in some water just below boiling for bout 5-10min with some lemon pieces and then poured the liquid into an Ice cube tray as seen below:
Shroom CuBeS! hehee

I have yet to try the honey or the Shroom cubes but I will definately give them a go soon. In the meantime my question is has anyone out their done this sort of thing before and was it succesful??
Well would love to here feed back about my long term extraction process... Let me know ppl!
Cheers,

The amount of heat required to melt honey shouldn't be sufficient to completely destroy the actives... I think you'll still get decent results. Not sure about how much honey you'll have to eat though.

I think it's all neat. I don't know how the sub cubes would be for flavor, but the honey looks mighty fine! I look forward to hearing abot the results of potency and effects.

Yea i figured it wouldn't destroy the active chemicals if I just heated gently at a low temp, did not take much heat, just enough for the honey to be a bit more liquid like to make filtering easier. Anyways will try some this weekend. As for the shroom cubes, yeah im a little nervous on what they will taste like, hah! Might chuck them in some iced tea!

Oh yeah also in that pan with the honey was well over 100 subs, so hopefully that jar of honey will be quite potent!
