First.........THIS IS NOT A FLAME
OK
When you pull jars out of a sterilizer as they cool they slowly draw in air. If you put them straight into a bag/container and seal them it get a vacuum and when u open the bag/container it suck in unclean air. I'm sure there will be no problem if you put micro tape(or the option to do so over holes.Even if it's more.

i would truely hope that anyone that sells sterilized jars would let them cool in front of a flowhood.

Jars will only suck in air if they are not sealed. At www.MediumMania.com, we only punch holes on request. Keeping jars sealed is the absolute best way to ensure sterility.
When we do punch holes in the jar lids, we wrap them in foil, and plastic wrap, then vaccum seal. The jars cool in the autoclave, and we vacuum seal them when they are still warm. They go from the autoclave to the vacuum bags in less than 10 seconds, in a sterile environment.
Also, even if you are using pre-sterilized jars and a professionally made syringe, you still need to use sterile procedures during inoculation. Opening a vacuum bag of jars in this environment would introduce no more likelyhood of contamination than inoculation.

Ate you guys partners with shroom wizard or something? You know that most of the ppl that are going to order are going to be newbies and the method of jar packing is not for them.
If your not ALL about the money make full fledged PF JARS.To the T. Not just Sterilized jars. Help the newbs. Help them succeed.

I agree with the above post. Got 6 grain jars and they were all pc'ed with the rubber side down creating a vacuum. I did my best to be sterile and did all of my work in a glove box. But because of the vacuum ever time i would punch a hole it would suck in a ton of air.
Now, one week later all of the jars contamed and I am the proud own of a pressure cooker. I recommend people to do the same.
Edit: Also I never got my 60/40 that was ordered even after I pmed MM.
