Found more shrooms...there were more there, and I'll likely go back tonight to get the rest of them...I have no idea how the hell I'm going to dry all of these along with all the ones I found yesterday. Most of them were found in horse shit/stabe shavings and some were found in hay...
This Subb thought it was a Cyan...

Those are some nice finds. I dont have any experience about subbalteatus except how to say it....IYO do you find them more potent found directly on dung and hay rather than manure enriched lawns.

Yeah, I find they are more potent on dung/hay than in grass, but thats just my opinion...

Found more.....1000g more, not jokin...heres my drying setup:
Big square fan Upholster for fan Shrooms Screen Bin
I overlapped some of the shrooms on the screen quite a bit...I'll post some pictures of the total haul tomorrow after they dry a bit...I really don't know what the hell I'm going to do with all of these shrooms...can anyone with experience on them give me an idea for dosing?(I've dosed on subbs before, but that was years ago and without a scale...that and my memory isn't all that great anymore )

nice subs whitenight, but using paper bags to collect isn`t the best try gladware plastic containers to keep them from getting mangled looking, but nice find btw!

Because I remember the trips.

Actually paper is far better for storing mushrooms because it absorbs excess moisture and keeps the mushrooms from becoming a soggy mess. Of course, this is not always an issue, and is much less of one if you remove them quickly from the plastic containers.

Do any have a light brown spore print? I found a bunch of shrooms poppin up in a wood chip pile. most were button shaped with that puzzle type texture on top. with light brown gills and a hollow white/cream stem.

Right, but I was just kind of guessing around 1.5 grams, if I pick more lawn subbs I'll seperate them from my horse manure subbs and do a little experimenting...

I know how it works brother...next rain hopefully I'll find more subbs, even though I have such a ridiculous amount.

is there a connection between the conditions and substrate and the potency or does it have to do with species?

Whiteknight what part of the world are you in? I am in the PNW and am curious if I might be able to find some subs near me with our current weather conditions, I have been looking in grass but I understand that horse pastures are the best place to find them.
