Grow Kit Help

Hi guys! I'm new here, and this is my first post. I tripped 10 times now and almost every trip was wonderfull, favourite drug, period, even made me stop using weed everyday I read a LOT on mushrooms, for years, before I was able to try for the first time, the reest is history
I also read a lot on shroomery.org and I'm going to Cultivate shrooms the "real" way in the near future, but for now, I wanted to start soft with a simple online ordered Grow Kit from Amsterdam. I don't know if I can post that link to the productpage so I won't before you say it's ok!
Anyway, as the guide on the site said, I soaked the substrate with water for 12 hours, and poured it out. Then i put the kit in the bag for exactly 6 days and 12 hours ago. According to the guide, it says that I should just sit back and relax letting the kit work on it's own, it also said that after 7-10 days of doing nothing, the first mushrooms will appear and they will mature in a week.
Well, I'm pretty sure that the first mushrooms wont appear within 3,5 days. Just look at this picture I took after exactly 4 days/96 hours after starting the kit: http://img119.imageshack.us/img119/1360/mygrowkit96hours7dz.jpg
It's been 2,5 days after that photo, and there hasn't appeared much more mycelia then it was on that photo. So I asked on the live text chat, and a guy said it might be that the CO2 levels are two high slowing down the growth of the mycelia, so I opened the bag and fanned it for a few seconds with an envelope a few minutes ago
Now I have to wait and see if that helped. Some sites say 1-2 weeks before the first mushrooms appear, so maybe the site just says 7-10 days to attract customers? I don't know...
There isn't any sign of contamination either.
As for now, the bag with the kit is in my kitchen where it is 24 degress Celsius, and the kitchen is quite ventilated. But I don't think the built in airfilter in the bag is enough, so I'll continue to ventilate it a few seconds every day. Oh, I also give it light with a light bulb 12 hours a day.
Let's hope that the CO2 was the problem, otherwise, I'm asking for more tips on what I can do!
Thanks in advance / NP

Yes, I know Grow Kits are a rippoff, but I can't have a real mushroom cultivation where I live now... Ripoff or not, they do work, and it's much cheaper than the crap I can buy around here, which is like never anyway. I will move soon and start a real cultivation...
My question is if it looks ok with that amount of mycelia after almost 7 days?

Do you know what the substrate is?
So you hydrated it yourself but it didn't tell you to pasteurize or anything?
If it smells OK, it's probably cool...for now.

"Do you know what the substrate is?"
Looks like rice to me...
"So you hydrated it yourself but it didn't tell you to pasteurize or anything?"
The only thing you should do, according to the guide, is to soak the substrate in water for 12 hours, pour it out, put the box in the air-filtered bag, lay back and relax and let it grow... Besides my question if it looks ok, I just wondered if you had any tips for speeding it up or something.

It smells like mushrooms
Yeah, I'll wait and see... Thanks anyway!
