Some German guy putting his radio controlled model airplane through some amazing stunts indoors. Very impressive.

That's called "3D flying". It's getting pretty big these days, I wouldn't mind getting in to it!

That's pretty amazing. I thought it was gonna be the video from a long time ago that had a plane that could go on water and do crazy stuff underwater. Anyone seen that one?

My uncle got into flying those planes. I tried it a few times and it's damn hard to do basic turning maneuvers.

You could probably get started out in 3D flight for $500-$600 (Canadian). Most of the plane kits themselves are only $50-$70, it's the electronics (motor, battery, servos, radio gear) that'll set you back a lot...but you can always buy a low-end radio and save at least a hundred or two. Electric planes have come WAY down in price over the past 5 years or so.
It's the gas ones that tend to be way expensive, after you get all the stuff you need to run one...
