When I first started tripping everyone would always want to drink OJ ....with shrooms or acid.....They said it intensifies the trip etc..
on a NL website that sells dry shrooms...It says drinking OJ will help kill the trip ...WTF?

that's weird... there's vitamin C in orange juice.
and vitamin C in high doses indeed is said to be able to stop a trip.
Personally I don't think vitamin C or orange juice for that matter does anything at all. Doesn't intensify the trip, nor does it kill the trip. But placebo effect is always possible. And perhaps when drinking something the mushroom concentration in your stomach get diluted so that the ingestion of it is spread over a longer time thus making the effects weaker (but longer).
I do have a few vitamin C pill around btw when tripping. Not that I believe it will kill a trip, but it works great for preventing bad trips.. you always have the idea you got something for when things get really bad. Even tho you don't know for sure it will work, it at least is something. And the idea you have everything in control, or at least to some extent prevents really bad trips for me.

OJ is the best chaser for chowwing down mushrooms, and it naturally gives you energy. I seem to trip better when I drink OJ with my mushrooms, whether that is a placebo effect or not, I do not care. If thinking that drinking OJ with the mushrooms intensifies/improves the effects, than how can it hurt to guzzle a cup of minute maid?

I always drink it if Im sick cause it helps upset stomachs(commen shroom side affect at the begiing). Not sure if vitamin C helps the trip.

On the topic of Orange juice:
OJ contains a good amount of Citric Acid. This acid is great for getting Alkaloids absorbed into your system faster & more completely.
But OJ also contains a whopping amount of sugars, and these will decrease the intensity of your Trip...
Quite a mixed bag, innit?
If you want to INCREASE your Trip by co-ingesting something, I'd suggest you slush it down with DIET 7-UP: All the Citric Acid & none of the sugar plus it tastes good to most and is readily available.
When you've passed the 1-Hourpoint & want to DECREASE the intensity, OJ is as good as any high-sugar softdrink, but OJ's better for your health so use that.

Sure softdrinks contain alot of carbonic acid, but that just helps as Alkaloid Carbonates are generally highly soluable in water too...

Since my job basically consists of me pulling money out of the Dutch equivalent of ATM machines, on account of me being a handicapped dude, I've got all the time in the World for my hobbies which includes doing heavy research just for fun.
