First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone for the positive feed back you have given to us in all the emails. In our relentless effort to supply you with mycology products that will make your research easier, We?ve decided to add our very own Mushroom-Madness' Dynamic Spore-a-Nator?.
Mushroom-Madness' Dynamic Spore-a-Nator?: Using the Dynamic Spore-a-Nator, you can make up to twelve, 10ml spore syringes in under 45 seconds (refer to procedure three under syringe tek ). This reliable, leak resistant, 120 ml liquid capacity spore container features an exclusive, self healing, needle entry point which is designed for the collection of spores from any area where collection by needle and syringe is required. The Spore-a-Nator? Can accommodate up to an 18 gauge needle.
This also features an adjacent laboratory access port which eliminates the need to remove the cap when transferring spores and reduces exposure to airborne contaminants. Good luck to you all... Enjoy my friends! Remember, all of our spore prints are taken on sterile glass slides.

MM, I very rarely enter another vendors thread and I hope you don't mind me entering now. I think this new Spore-A-Nator is a real improvement over the inferior Spore Spreader. The Spore Spreader had real promise but the dowfall was the long rubber tubing in which you had to work from. Simply put,it provided very nice scalding burns and did not do a very efficient job of providing water back and forth through the too-thin tubing as needed. Your product looks like a clear step up and you deserve kudos for bringing it to the marketplace. Peace, "Boxtop"

Unfortunately I am not familiar with "The Spore Spreader." But I trust your judgment. I am extremely excited that our Dynamic Spore-a-Nator?. It may revolutionize spore syringe making. Nu-Shroom, the burns came when you tried squirting the hot water into the tube. It would always back up and end up spilling out onto your hands. I think this Mushroom-Madness version will solve this problem by eliminating the tube altogether. It looks like a real step up. NSP, I think your product was a great idea as well but when put to practical use, it was more of a hassle than anything else. Btw, I have never "shot-up" anything in my life. Nice personal attack. Mushroom-Madness, it looks like you really have something good here. Peace, "Boxtop"

in re: to your "spore a' nator syringe tek"
In reply to:
(Procedure Two; step 10:) Allow the Dynamic Spore-a-Nator? to sit for a minimum of 12 hours. The spores need this time to re-hydrate
i dont think this step is really neccessary...i think, you can just scrape the spores into it, shake/twirl the spore a nator...and suck up the spore water, and let the spores re-hydrate in the syringes.....therefore eliminating re-sterilizing the workspace, and supplies needed, 12 hours later... ...when 1 could do it al at 1 time in a short period. what do you think? no disrespect, but your step #10 above isnt some kind of scheme to sell more spore a nators is it? ( if one wanted to do more strains then just 1 or more syringes then 10 at once) and same as the question from mycofile, (autoclavable/reusable) just my 2 cents, but overall, the spore a nator looks like a really innovative product for this hobby. good job!

Why don't you make your personal arguments via email or PM instead of cluttering the public with the litter mycotek? He has one product better than yours. So be it. I for one would have appreciated not seeing off-topic issues dragged in here, but then again, you have always had a knack for doing so, just like the early days of DB. The new spermanator seems like a great product. You can't deny that, so you use something else to change the subject. Back to you and your superior products. I've heard that song several times.... And to forty oz, yes you should let the spores rehydrate. Very good advice. It does depend somewhat on how fresh the spore print is, but most cultivators who've been around the block a couple of times have run across the problem of dehydrated spores. And no they don't rehydrate fine in the substrate. There is a notable lag period occasionally, and occasionally failure to germinate at all. The beauty of spores is that they can rehydrate and grow after laying dormant and dry for so long. But they must rehydrate. Sometimes that will happen just fine in the substrate. Or you could let them rehydrate in the syringe. But you should let the spores rehydrate (I'd even venture to say 24 hours instead of the recomended 12) and step 10 seems to keep people from using the spores immediately if they havn't sat in the syringe or spermanator long enouch to do so.

....nor the spore a nator....for at least 12 hours so says their tek. no disrespect, it sounds like a scheme to sell more. (for example, if people wanted to not wait 12 hours to do more syringes, or even syringes of aa different strain, they'd have to buy more than 1)

"Can it be pressure cooked" It is not autoclavable "does it come sterile then get tossed after use?" It does come presterilized... You can reuse it, you just simply have to thourghly clean it with an antibacterial cleaner, bleach, or Isoprophil alchol. I hope these answers help!

You are correct in that it will tie up the spermanator. But it does prevent people from using spores that aren't rehydrated. Of course people could just let their syringes sit for a few. At least he mentions rehydration. I guess it would encourage people to buy more than one, but doesn't seem too sneaky. Is it autoclavable?

"no disrespect, it sounds like a scheme to sell more. (for example, if people wanted to not wait 12 hours to do more syringes, or even syringes of aa different strain, they'd have to buy more than 1) No that is not true. the advantage of buying more than one is the ability to create spore syringes of different strains simultaneously, as opposed to waiting for the spores to rehydrate inside the Spore-a-Nator before you refill it and use it again 12 hours later. It is simply a matter of convenience my friend.
