"Evil is merely a concatenation of the human mind, overwhelmed by the fixation of the assemblage point on it's habitual position."

a fixed assemblege point isn't the cause of evil it's the effect of evil. or rather, it's a means through which the darkness can move.
and, a fixed assemblege point isn't always necessarily evil. evil is just another word for FALSE goodness is just another word for TRUE
any pattern that opposes the Order is dark and chaotic and inevitably False. any pattern that goes and returns TRUE is good.
sometimes a fixated assemblege point is abiding by the Order of things. rarely, but it happens. so your statement is False if it try to stand alone on itself, without further clarification.

You make a lot of threads on quotes of Castaneda, and a lot of the readers here aren't as avid readers of his teachings as you.
For those confused, here's what Castaneda describes as the "assemblage point":
Castaneda describes human beings as "luminous eggs" of energy. Only a small field of this energy is lit up with brilliance on the shell of the egg. "Perception occurs when the energy fields in that small group immediately surrounding the point of brilliance extend their light to illuminate identical energy fields outside the ball. Since the only fields perceivable are those lit by the point of brilliance, that point is named 'the point where perception is assembled', or simply the 'assemblage point'."

Well no matter what evil is, I don't plan to accept it as my mode of behaviour. I don't care for definitions and philosophy, I just don't want to fight with people and want to get along. It's simple.

True enough. But I only made this thread for those who read him or can figure it out.

Evil seems to be the shadow of mankind that people refuse to deal with.... they use "devil" as a fear dumpster, giving it tangibility and personification.
that is not to deny the reality of devils and angels and anything in between, for what we give power has power... but its still intimately connected to us, yes? Until we overcome its power, anyway, and stop dumping our fear into the collective shadow.
Perhaps.
The archetype of the devil has the power to consume... the archetype of the Christ has the power to save..... but because you cannot exist without a mind to do the existing with, they are all internal concepts ultimately.
?
I dunno don't take anything I have just said too importantly because if I am wrong I don't want to mislead.
I do know we feed the shadow (commonly called devil) and give it strength by blaming things on it.
-------------------- I am the MacDaddy of Heimlich County, I play it Straight Up Yo! ....I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow, to feel inspired, to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human...... Om Namah Shivaya, I tell you What!
