Good game, though we missed a penalty again. We head into the World Cup with 6 wins behind us.

Crouchie was being silly. Much as i approve of his good form lately i wouldnt want him taking a penalty in a proper game or in a shootout either tbh.

I don't understand the old world's obsession with soccer. It's one of the most boring sports I've ever watched.

I have to agree, however, I did play in grade school leagues. It was fun as hell, but that was playing. I feel sorry for my parents who had to come watch.

There is not one North American Sport that does not bore me to tears. Its obviously just whatever gives you the bug when you are young, what is the main man sport in your nation. I don't say it to be confrontational, but Hockey, Basketball, Baseball and American Football mostly make me want to kill myself when i misfortune upon them on tv. Either that or switch to mtv and start wanking over jessica simpsons jailbate sister. Its not like i wouldnt think a bit differently if i was brought up with them more i guess, however charlotan that may sound to my delicate predilections...
That said, i do like the WWE, so not all US sports are lame in my book.

Oh you are so banned
No, I know what you mean. I'm a huge fan of football, I don't mind hockey, dodgeball and kickball, and I love golf.
If I knew where you were from I'd like to make fun of some of your sports.

WWE is not really a sport. I don't know why people consider acting a sport. It's even more sad when announcers go on how a particular character has "talent" to beat so and so. The only talent there is whoever wrote the script.

I was kidding about that one. I agree, it is exceptionally sad in many many ways. Not to mention frighteningly homo-erotic at points.
I am from England btw Stein, but only really get aggravated by anti-football talk. Cricket for example, i am mostly happy to throw to the wolves.

I don't know how you fancy Brits do things in England, but here there is nothing wrong gayness in and of itself when kept below the parade radar.

Fair point.
It wasn't ever frightening. I was labouring over that one.
