i dont think wiping the walls would hurt
but if its on the poo
whenever moisture would build up on my cakes or casings i'd take a clean paper towel and lightly tap it to absorb the moisture

do not remove the moisture!!!
do not open the tub!!!
only to case and immediately back closed.
the moisture is what you need.

The point of a mono tub is so that you don't have to do basically anything. I agree with mitch that a mono tun shouold be opened for caseing layer and harvesting and never have any moisture added and never have any moisture removed.
If you followed the DT pictorial and you have your hpoo up to feild capasiy you will be fine. Plus if the poo is not 100% it sould be in garbage bags in the clossit still.
That is my 2 cents

well it was left outside and had been shredded and left out to dry and leach for over 2 weeks and then i pasteurized it and let it drain for just over an hour out of the pillow case. It seems really warm in the monotub i dont open much but when i do to check its progress it is very humid and very warm.
