It's too bad you aren't near NJ, as that is where most research of the type goes on, and pays the most I believe.

Your golden then. Granted going into debt sucks, but for study abroad it's totally worth it. Sallie Mae signature loans are good I believe. I have like 2200 in student loans, which I used to buy a guitar.

safe my ass did you hear about the elephant man from the drug trials in england???
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2091-2179512,00.html
----------------------------------------------------Drugs trial man could lose fingers Richard Oakley RYAN WILSON, the worst affected of the six men who became seriously ill after taking part in the notorious Elephant Man drug trial in Britain, has been told he may lose the tips of three of his fingers.
Wilson, 20, was one of six men who volunteered to undergo human tests for TGN1412, a drug designed to treat autoimmune inflammatory disease and leukaemia.
He and the other five, including a New Zealander, suffered convulsions and organ failure minutes after receiving doses of the medicine.
Wilson, whose mother Marion is from Dublin, is the only one of the six still in hospital. He has hired Ann Alexander, one of Britain’s top medical negligence lawyers, to represent him in a possible legal action.
She previously represented families whose relatives were murdered by Harold Shipman.
Alexander said last week that Wilson’s condition was no longer critical, but that he remained ill and was suffering from gangrene. He and the others want the trials investigated to ensure that what happened will not be repeated.
“We are waiting to get a prognosis on Ryan’s condition,” she said. “At the moment it is not clear how much damage has occurred and we are monitoring the situation.
“All the others involved are out of hospital, but he has to remain there. He has been told he may lose the tips of three of his fingers. This is part of the problem caused by gangrene.”
Alexander said Wilson had not filed a legal action against TeGenero AG, the German manufacturer of the drug, or Parexel International, the company that conducted the tests, but he would be seeking compensation.
“If a settlement is possible we will do that. If not, Ryan will seek compensation through the courts. But this is only one of the issues for him. He wants to make sure lessons have been learned,” she said. The lawyer said the men could suffer further after-effects from the trials and any compensation would have to cover that.
“Ryan and these men suffered an assault on their bodies that could lead to problems yet to manifest themselves. Any compensation would have to make allowance for that,” she said.
Wilson, a student, had been told the only side effects of the drug tests were likely to be nausea and headaches. Instead he went into a coma for three weeks after undergoing the trial in Northwick Park hospital in Harrow, London, last March.
He has been told he may have to stay in hospital for another six months.
He and five others were paid €3,500 for taking part in the trial. Wilson had planned to spend the money on driving lessons and a holiday.
An interim report into the trials by Britain’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) concluded there was no evidence of problems with the quality of the test drug and no contamination of the doses. -----------------------------------------------------

That was someone who was being treated for a disease, meaning he already had a pre-existing condition. I participated in a study, where I got stung by a bee. They then gave me a shot with a vaccine they made, and stung me again. I had no reaction, and got 500 for 2 hours of my time. The bee sting hurt like a mother fucker though. Some crazy kind of hornet.

I had met all the qualifications. Hmmm, I still wouldn't worry, I think you have a lot of avenues for getting money. You could get a bank loan and have your parents cosign.

MrTryptastic said: my bro made some decent cash by being a guinea pig and testing experimental drugs. Not sure if you really want to do that though. You have to be able to pass a drug test and then you live in a clinic for a month or so and have your blood drawn several times a day. Some of the programs have you only going in for weekends, but they don't pay as much. I think my bro made like $6000 in a month by testing some antiviral meds or something. Personally, I wouldn't do it, but then I'm not desperate for cash.

Anyway, back to the issue at hand. AneWay, you really think you can come up with that much cash, in that amount of time? You're gonna be lost in a big field for about 4 days, spending some of the cash that you intended on saving. That leaves you with all that much less slack. You need to do something specfuckingtacular to pull that one off. I hope you make it, but you should maybe not dismiss the possibility that this pilgrimage abroad might not happen.
Stay strong though and think/feel alot about it and it will come to you. One way, or the other.
Good luck.
p.s.We'll have extra food at 'roo, but not alot. I'll make sure you don't fall out, anyway.

Cool,I have some gas money for you.
I am pretty sure this whole thing wont happen. But I am still getting my passport and shit just incase.
I haven't saved any money to spend.I had 1k but I sent that to the program as a deposit. My bonnaroo spending is going to be very tight.I dint want to be a burden on you or danksis,so please dint fit the bill for beer and weed all weekend.I can handle not being drunk.I just want to meet everyone and hear some music. But If I have the money, you bet I will be trashed all weekend.
