Yep, the Tom Robbins book "Skinny Legs and All" So damn good I'm only reading every few days, so I don't read it too quickly.

Yes. One story I read, when it ended...devestated me. I won't mention which series. But let's just say I spent the entire weekend in constant tears. My entire reality was turned upside down. I couldn't function.
But that's just because of what they did to my favorite character.
Bastards.

Anyway, so now I like to savor the characters while I know they'll last.

Ashamed of what you read? I hope not!
I never feel much for the characters but I'm always disappointed when books are over. So much time invested in them... I don't know if spacing out readings would help me.

It's just personal. I had warm fuzzy feelings towards a particular character and giving the name of the series might reveal too much.

God, I really don't read enough.

i think thats whats great about the prolouge as it talks about the elves and dwarves and stuff and talks about their different personalities and traits, i imagine what its like to live there and its just awesome. and like, the dwarves travelling through hobbiton. i think it would be so cool if a dwarf walked thru my town. its pretty cool on this planet too cuz you never know who you are going to meet but you have to "check them out" cuz only when you get to know somebody you know if they are a dwarf man hobbit or elf

No, I only liked her first book. Plus vampires are lame.

HOnestly I had it figured for Harry Potter, I know lots of people who would be ashamed to say they ever read those books. I enjoyed the first two.

I really love the Harry Potter series. I read the whole thing in like two weeks or something, on a lark. It's great, I'm eagerly awaiting the seventh.
