Immortality

Your brain is sort of like a computer, it stores knowledge into Memory Banks, data for future utilization.
There is another kind of memory though, that is linked to Physical Brain Memory, but independent on it's own too. A Spiritual Memory. A field of consciousness that only requires a Shape to fuel it's existence. And this Shape is The Human Body. This is why mummification was so important to the Ancient Egyptians.
And what I am here to tell you is that Immortality is nothing more than the ability to keep Memory Intact. The Spirit preceeds Matter. So long as the Memory of the Holy Spirit remains intact, it makes the physical body totally impervious to all force in the universe. An atomic bomb blast wouldn't even effect it. The center of the Sun wouldn't even have any effect on it whatsoever.
And the Key to keeping Memory intact, to etch it from our physical brains into the spirit mind- is Love.
Love is the ONLY thing that the Holy Spirit can reflect on, it is all it has to work with. To keep the Key strong, so it not bend or break off in the lock for us, the rule is to simply Love Life- to love all living things unconditionally. When you do this, you are essentially making yourself One with the Force of Life ITself. And...One with the Force of Love ITself.

I love that!
And, I think it might relate to this; I just posted in another forum.

how does one experience love though?
Love cannot coexist with much of the burdens and defilements we have in our minds. they serve as dams basically.
but there's not just one damn. (or dam) there are many locking you off from the source........
perhaps
cosmic love/unity with DIVINE [dam] extreme happiness and lots of love [dam] happiness and occasional love [dam] contention and small burts of sublime appreciation [dam] modest pleasure and optimistic outlook [dam] fleeting pleasure and neutrality [dam] boredom/suffering/surface emotions.

Om Namah Shivaya, I tell you What!

how does one experience love? it beings by taking interest in something and paying attention to it. love just means union. whatever you are giving your time and attention and intrest to, you are loving.
even if you are feeling hate for whatever you are doing. hate is just a dyfunctional form of attention, intrest, and love.
if you try to be empty and numb with no feelings at all, you might succeed, but you cannot be immortal that way.
passion for divinity is not a blockage or restriction, rather it's a form of freedom. not clear on what you mean by dam.
