hi! last Friday i harvested a jar of P.Atlantis sclerotia. I ate half with a friend and left the other half in the fridge until i checked them out today and found out that some of the sclerotia got fluffy mycelium or mold around them... so what do you think is it mycelium that grew from the sclerotia or is it mold?

If they stink and taste bitter, it's mold. If you ever eat a stale stone, you'll never forget the experience. They taste awful. If it tastes normal, then it's just mushroom mycelium. I always start drying the leftover stones as soon as I pick out the fresh ones I want to eat.

It is mycelium. I've seen it many times with freshly stored stones. Not enough time has passed for mold to form on them in the refrigerator unless they were rotten to begin with.
