When sterilizing WBS, can I just use the boiling method or do I have to pressure cook?

I believe with wbs you almost have to pressure cook.
the reason I soak my wbs is to germinate bacterial endospores along with hydrate the grains.
the boiling method will not be able to effectively hold a high temperature long enough and steady enough for the amount of killing that needs to be done of those endospores.
I would assume just boiling the jars would end up with bacterial contamination of the jars in a much higher rate than if you pc'ed them.
Just my thoughts, maybe I'm wrong. I strongly suggest buying a pressure cooker. If you can, buy an All American.

here, check this out.
If you soak and/or simmer and be very careful and boil for a long time, you could pull it off. I guess.
It really is best to pressure cook though. Or do the pf style cakes and crumble them.

with grains you must PC, this is the only way to effectively kill off endospores and bacteria and provide yourself with clean jars.
Fractional sterilization is possible, but produces sporadic and poor results.
