MusicIP - Automatic playlist creator based on songs you like

It's a program that scans your music files with an algorithm to determine what kind of music it is. After a long scanning and analysing process you can select a song you like, or feel in the mood for, and it will create a playlist with similar songs. Don't know how well it works yet, just installed it. If it works it sure beats the hell out of making playlists. After a while you have so many songs that you only listen to a few albums or take hours making playlists. This gives you back your music. http://www.musicip.com/

I was also just testing that service. It's pretty impressive. But it doesn't use your own music collection. But it is ofcourse a great way to find new artists.

This would be a pretty good way for spyware to see all your illegal music and then report back to the RIAA. It's free too....

Ah. I already tried it and got bored with it though and deleted it. I don't think the player sounded as good as winamp or foobar2000.

You can export the playlist with one button-click to your favourite player like winamp. But I don't think that it would sound different than winamp, unless you use the equalizer.

winamp has a similar feature built into it called musicmagic mix. ive used it a couple times and its pretty decent, only thing that sucks is it has to rescan your library to categorize the music.
