whats a good way to keep animals away?? particulaly Elk and Squirrels... we also have skunks, porcipines, deer, fox, bobcats, occasional bears... making a fence would make the crops obvious to passer byers if you know what i mean.. i need some kind of repelant...

fishing line about knee height keeps away deer i've heard. also try pissing everywhere and have your dog piss the perimeter too.
anyone know how to deter groundhogs? cuz they either tunnel under the fence or climb it...

I used to store urine in 2 liter bottles. one of those drained around your grow area when you go out to water works great. try and get it on mostly bushes and things. soap shavings and pet hair tend to work ok too. making a perimeter of thin but strong fishing line at 7' away and 14' away will keep most deer out. dont use fish emulsion/blood meal stuff or coyotes might dig up your plants.

Plastic chair, a book, and a BB gun.
haha that can cause too much attention though.
i lived in an area deep in the woods, squirrels as fat as cats, racoons as big around as a car tire. the only thing that ate our plants was deer.

i saw that shit was it on that channel where they were trying to get into the house and that was part of the security system and whoever was trespassing would get sprayed?? ya that would be awesome but i dont want a hose leading directly to my grow that would be a little obvious...
i put the grow in the middle of a thorn bush patch so hopefully elk dont like getting all scratched up by that shit... and theres a couple trees im gonna put a couple fish lines and tomorow im gonna drink a shitload of water and pee all over the place... mabye even take a shit somewhere close lol... dont have pet hair and i dont wanna put my own hair all over because then they have DNA evidence... i want as little possibility in getting caught... basically the cops would have to video tape me planting them and watering them...

powdered egg whites work. (no idea why) synthetic lions piss really works well.

I think any big carnivors unrine will work. Lion, Grizzly, wolverine & human. When i don't pee out by my salsa garden for about a week, i notice my plants will be nimbled on. Also as stated earlier don't use blood meal or fish emulsions.

Get a water bottle. pee in it poke some holes at the top and it'll deter animals.
I asked the same quesiton when I was doing an outdoor grow and it works like a charm.
