Contaim on verm layer

My friend Bob just birthed 5 cakes to make a couple casings and he noticed that all of them had cobweb mold growing in the top verm layer, he then scraped all of the verm off and sprayed the cakes with H2O2, after he made the casings he then checked two other jars both of them also had cobweb mold on the verm layer.
Bob was wondering what he should do with the rest of the jars, they are all about 90-100% done. Bob was thinking about just sprying H2O2 an all of the verm layers. and letting the finish before he cases the rest.

I just saw this posted in the pics fourm:

it looks a lot like the bottom pic. how would bob find out if its cobweb or mycelium.
I also had the idea of takeing the verm off and puting a new sterilized layer on the jars till they finish, does anyone know if this would work.

its probably mycelium that grew into the vermiculite

its usually cobweb looking, very light and not very rhizomorphic looking.

Cool, i hope its not cobweb. do you know if cobweb has any smell, because i dont notice any smell except to normal smell.
