This is just a rough draft of the Introduction.
Evolution
The meaning of life is to learn through experience. Learning translates into wisdom. We gain wisdom through life experience, in order to constantly adapt and evolve to our environment. This is evolution.
Evolution allows life to constantly change and adapt in order to be better suited for its environment. This is the way of the Universe. All things must evolve and constantly improve.
The Universe is constantly in motion, and so are we. A tree may appear to be sitting still, but at the sub-atomic level its particles are vibrating back and forth in a rapid motion. All things physical contain particles of energy, which we call atoms. These atoms are composed of even smaller particles of energy which vibrate at a specific frequency according to their purpose.
Spiritual
We are spiritual beings, living a physical existance. We have chosen to enter the physical realm in order to better understand it. And what better way to understand something than to live in it? Our lives are just a short experience for us to gain knowledge to bring back to the spiritual plane with us and continue to evolve the Universe. For we are the Creators of this plane, where our thoughts create our reality. Every living thing is a sacred spiritual being, composed of love and light, whose original nature is goodness. Only through the illusion of material life do we forget about this cosmic truth, and become lost in a maze of negative emotions and backwards thinking. However this is the challenge of physical life... no one said it was going to be easy. But in order to fully benefit from your human experience, you must cherish every living moment. See things as if you were seeing them for the first time. Love all things. Learn from your mistakes, do not dwell on them or beat yourself up over them. By striving for what is right and seeing the wisdom in every one of lifes experiences, you will gain more from this short life than you could have ever asked for.
Accelerated
Like it or not, our world is in a time of great change. Unless you have been living in a cave for the past hundred years, (I know some of you have) you would have seen the massive changes the World has undergone in a very short amount of time. In under a hundred years we went from the Industrial Age, to the Technology Age, to the Spage Age, and now.. the Information Age. (Although the Technology and Space Age are far from over.. in fact they have just begun). Only very recently in human history have we entered space, which literally opens a whole new Universe for mankind. As we go deeper into this new era, we must allow ourselves to remain open to all changes which occur on our world. If you think things have changed a lot in the past twenty years, just think what the next twenty have in store for us. The future is completely open and we must embrace it by creating a clear path for us to follow through the present.

sorry shroomism but its all a bit group-hug, sugar-coated niceness
particles of energy composed of smaller particles of energy?
..our original nature is goodness? who judges good and bad?
we become lost in a maze of negative emotions and backwards thinking?
i think i read the same thing on a 'children of god' pamphlet or was it scientology?
why is it we are so often told we are lost and confused? surely not so we can follow the speaker to find the "truth".
where's the meat?
i can't wait for the chapter on ego

Well don't be too hard on him.....it is just a rough draft....and I really shouldn't say anything because it will probably be a while before I have the skills to write even the most basic book.....but I would say yes, you should perhaps change the word "goodness" to "love" and then briefly expand on what real love is. I agree it is sugar-coated niceness because that is who you are and yes that is our original nature. BUt I'm not exactly sure who you're directing this book toward, but my guess is it's especially for the people who aren't able to realize this stuff day to day (other wise they wouldn't need the book). so I think you should try to appeal to them more and catch their attention with this "meat" that he's talking about. Other wise I do think a lot of people will just pass it off as another "children of god" pamphlet.
Okay I just realized that you probably did not post this so it could be criticized. Also I just realized that you don't need my criticism or anyone elses becuase you're a freakin' genius and when your book is done it will be just what it needs to be. However since I already wrote this I might as well just click that button down there.

I just got a great idea!
You could subtitle the book ("shroomism, etc.") and you can write parts of the book while your on shrooms!!! or was that already part of the plan?
