Radio Shack wireless/digital hygrometer

I noticed in Radio Shack that they have these discounted to 17.97 from 49.99. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index....rentPage=search

I think they have a wireless thermometer and hygrometer sensor. I haven't tried this one but it seems like a good deal.

I often have it next to my Taylor, while there not always the exactly the same they seem good enough, as there are also different types also.

I have 2-3 different temp gages for the same FC/incu.

I have that exact model myself.

Is it a pro-grade temp/hygro? No.

Is it 100% good enough for what you're doing? Yes.

That model can handle up to three remote units. Consider buying extras in case you want to monitor more than setup at a time. A fruiting chamber and a incubation chamber, for example. Those are discontinued too.

If you miss the boat, don't worry. Radio Shack has an "extreme temp" sensor that hasn't yet been discontinued. It doesn't have a screen on the sensor itself but who cares?

Yeah, it will work with the digi thermom, I just picked one up a few days ago and it's worked great so far.

Also, some of the things said in the reviews are bs. The main unit does give readings and you can manually adjust the time.
