HBWR
    #5712466 - 06/04/06 07:28 PM (17 years, 7 months ago)

Something is really wrong with my hbwr babies. I planted them about three months ago. they have been growing extremely slowly and now they look like they are about to die.
I had heard that hbwr seedlings grow rather slowly but eventually pick up speed, so I thought that was the case, but I guess not. :frown:

So I have them in regular potting soil, wartered regularly but not too often, and with some sun. This last week the sun has been getting very strong and it is getting really warm outside, could this be the culprit? Too much sun?

Don't worry. Nothing happened. Your plant is growing at normal rates. Just be sure to give your plant a proper fertilizer.

This is my woodrose and it's 1 month old. Growing rates are indeed slow. First year you will expect a bush-like plant. Be sure to put it in a greenhouse when winter comes or it will definitely die. Trust me. Greece and California have the same type of temperature. For any other question about plants (that I have grown) don't hesitate and send me a PM.

i was thinking it maybe too much sun. mine that were disscused earlier died from the sun but i replanted and have new ones. obviously less sun now and drastic improvements since the last round.
