Should N00bs Play With Pans?

Most of you know me and may have seen my growlog and what my technique looks like. So far I've got the beginnings of one grow under my belt (WBS is colonizing now, maybe 40% done).
But I'm planning ahead for my next grow. I'm thinking of doing half cubensis, half pans but I don't know if it's a bad idea for a n00b to jump into pans so early. I understand they're harder to cultivate.
So what say you, shroomery regulars? Is the cyan learning curve high or is it much ado about nothing?

Should noobs play with pans? I dunno, but if it doesn't work out, you could always play with yourself.

Yes spliff, I just read your log, I believe your ready.
The reason "noobs shouldnt do pans" is pans require spawning to dung which is a step that must be taken first before you grow pans. If a your confident enough to spawn cubies to poo and give them enough fresh air, a casing layer ect..then your able to grow pans. Do it the same way you did your cubies, but try to give them more fresh air.
Even if you only get a small harvest (few grams) it only takes .5-1 gram of these for a trip, a quarter is enough for plenty of fun. Give them a shot.
