Does anyone know if I buy something at a store with my credit card, can I get cash back? I know with my debit/check card, I have a choice to get 20, 40, 60, or 80 bucks cash back.
I'm broke and need some cash so I going to go try to buy something small at wallyworld and get some cash.

Sweet. Does the PIN # come with the info they sent with the card, or do I have to call the CC company for it.
Thanks for the help.

No you can't get cash back with a credit card only a debit card. But you can get cash with your credit card through an ATM machine but your credit card company will albsolutely rape you on interest so don't do it.

Well damn.
They charge interest just for taking the cash out? I'd have it paid back by next week. I'm just broke a shit and need a quick 100 bucks.

If you pay it back that fast, then it's not enough time for the interest to build I wouldn't think. It's if you end up not having the cash next week, and before you know it you're paying 500 dollars for the 100 dollars cash you got out months ago.

Regular interest rates don't apply to cash advances. They're something like 25 or 30%. Also with most credit cards they charge a fee of 10 or 20 dollars just for the transaction right off the bat. Read your agreement. I bet for a $100 cash advance you'll end up paying about 30 bucks just for that "convenience." Just find a friend that wants to buy something and has the cash. Buy it for them using your credit card and have your friend pay you in cash.
But my advice is to not spend money that you don't have.

Be careful with that. A credit card is completely different than an ATM card with a Visa logo on it.
When you use a credit card to get cash, you're taking a cash advance. Most banks will hit you with a $10 fee for the advance, then they will charge you some absurd percentage interest on the cash advance way higher than an ordinary purchase.
To double the insult, when you pay down your credit card balance, it will be applied to the low-interest principle before it's applied to the cash advance principle.
The practical upshot of all this is that you'll be paying mega-interest on the entire cash advance amount until you pay off your existing credit card balance, and ONLY THEN will your payments start to pay down the cash advance.
If you can't make better than the minimum payments, you will be paying for the cash advance for years.
