The computer allegory!
    #5706726 - 06/03/06 05:34 AM (17 years, 7 months ago)

Take windows XP, as a thought. (Like: I cannot do this/I will never find out/I cannot make it/ etc.)
And your computer, as your body/brain…

Then you look at Win XP.
It has a maximum support for Hard disks, of 300MB…

Then if you have a 320MB Hard disk, Win XP, would limit it.
So, the 320MB would be the potential of the computer, …

But; due to the “thought” (Windows XP), You could only use 300, of them…

“Be your potential self, as all your potentials!”

In that case I would switch to Linux.

A 20MB difference in potential is not all that much - unless you have a lot of really small files....

Too bad Windows can't patch itself to use it's "new" potentials like us humans can....

Dude..

It was an example..

A metaphor..

Edit:
Think you had a 4999292261781478016537737792392MB Hard disk.

It would still be 300MB to Win XP/(due to the thinking) ...

Yes, root out all self-limiting thought! Otherwise, your subconscious story runs the show and you drift through life tossed about on the waves of your emotional programming.
