Heating problem..please help!

Alright, WTF. I got a 25W submersible aquarium heater. i set the dial at 76 degrees. the thing is fucked up. I dunno,the little red light doesnt even come on until its at 89 degrees. but i know this isnt right. should nt be broken because i had one before it that did the same thing. different kind though. And when the red light does come on at the right temperature it soon goes away. I am gettin fuckin pissed. IT s an Aqarium Systems, 25W submersible heater. Does anyone know what the fuck is goin on?

An aquarium heater has a built in thermostat. Likely the temperature scale on the heater isn?t in accordance with the thermostat setting.

Read http://www.fungifun.org/pf/incubator.htm to see how to set your thermostat. You will need a submersable thermometer to do this.
