quick growing question
    #5704279 - 06/02/06 02:06 PM (17 years, 7 months ago)

ive obtained some extremely dry caps.. they are too dry to get a spore print. I want to mix some substrate in some jars. If i simply break up pieces of the cap and put it in with the substrate will that create mycellium growth?

i dont think that would be best you might be better off scraping the black gills into a liquid culture. that would be your best bet of getting mycelium. i think

I don't think it'll work either but ...how much effort would it be to give it a shot? So go ahead.

Let us know if you succeed.
