 Switzerland joins the U.N.

If switzerland joins the u.n. will we actually impose u.n. regulations on them? The U.N. has the same drug laws that the U.S. does, so does this mean an end to all cannabis in Switzerland?, does this also mean we get to extradite Mark Rich? I have this feeling that we are going to be giving special treatment to this U.N. country. Why are the joining anyways? So they can contribute troops in peacetime?, I think that is the main reason the U.S. government loves the U.N. , they can just say to the public, look this is'nt a war, this is only a U.N. peacekeeping mission, it will only cost two million dollars, and a couple hundred troops. We were the main creaters of the U.N. anyways. Maybe after 911 their was a secret coup in Switzerland, now power has shifted.

The Swiss drug laws won't go in any other direction now that they've joined the UN. Last year the UN strongly critisised the drug policy along with Switzerland's neighbouring parties and three of the four Swiss major parties gave them the political equivalent of The Finger. I don't really have a clue why we're joining, it doesn't really make a difference, the government went along with everything the UN did anyways.
