martha cool mist 24/7?

I have a Martha setup for casings. By just running the cool mist I have a humidity in the mid 90's without even running the ultrasonic. If I turn the cool mist off, it maintains the humidity for a few hours. Can I just set the cool mist to a timer and not worry about the ultrasonic. I want to have an automated setup, so as long as the humidity is in the low 90's, will I still have to mist the casings or anything? Thanks for any advice!

yeah, just the coolmist. On a timer is fine. No ultrasonic needed at all.

Mist casings as needed, up to 3-4 times a day, UNTIL YOU START SEEING PINS! As soon as you see pins, stop misting.
Keep your cool mist on 24/7, not on timer, your martha needs that good FAE (Frequent Air Exchange).
Dont use the ultrasonic.
OH YEA. In case you forgot, mist the shit outta your casings after the incubation chamber, then cover + put in fridge for 24hrs, then take out, mist heavily, and put into FC (fruiting chamber).
Good luck!

wOULD IT BE APPROPRIATE to have a small 4 inch fan for each shelf, thats 4. To provide each casing with an equal amount of air exchange. or is JUST a cool mist what I want?

circulating the air within the martha is no good you need FRESH air from outside the martha

I prefer to use a humidifier for humidity only, and simply leave a flap or two open for air exchange. In fact, I have two slits in my greenhouse that go from floor to ceiling. This provides constant air exchange. The humidifir inside runs one minute on, six minutes off to give 90%. I can leave it unattended for days at a time and everything regulates perfectly. RR
