Living in the big city, how would you go about throwing away spent horseshit or contamed substrate?
Many people refer to trash but is there a better way?
Lets hear some creative shit

If you live in an apartment complex, the flower beds can always use a bit of manure. I guess the same applies to a house. Be sure to go check after rains, because sometimes you get lucky. Indoors, you can use them in your houseplants. They will also fruit again in them. RR

Be careful with a garbage disposal. Most sinks only have a 1 1/4" drain pipe. It's real easy to stop those up with substrate, especially if it has straw in it. You can break it into turd sized chunks and flush down the toilet though, which is safer. RR

I'd just put it in doubled-up grocery-style sized bags and throw one in every outgoing trash. Or make a trip to the local 7/11 dumpster, just toss it in. Or one of those public trash receptacles. Who's gonna notice or care?

got my own big issues on this one... i have created my own recycling compost spent substrate pile (have yet to see anything, or reuse it ever) but i landscaped with bricks my own little dumper spot.
even though i have that, i have alot more to add, but i don't wanna dump it there due to neighbors.
so me and my roommate have made a plan to use a rubbermaid tub in the basement to collect all the spent substrarte then take it out to the woods or a dumpster and just dump the tub.
(i can tell ya, that we are growing some wicked shit in there) "wicked"
