So what mushrooms can I grow outdoors at this time of year ????? I realize indoors I can grow anything cool.gif But I was going to buy plug spawn for logs, etc. So, would it be possible to use the same stuff, for indoor and outdoor work, as long as I keep it clean, I dont see why not. But I could be wrong.
NOW, who to order from??????
Who would you order mushroom spawn from, I figured I would go with Fungi Perfecti, but if there is a quality vendor, with better prices, especially in Canada(as thats where I live), let me know. I am going to look, but I figured I would ask you guys anyway.
THANKS
Why not go for spores with some the these eddibles? Well I just want to jump into some projects I have been waiting to do for awhile, and now I finally have the cash. Watch out.

Sporeworks has a great line of non active mushrooms and they have a great reputation. As for what to grow canada isn't a small country so not sure what the climate (i.e temps) is where you are.

the 'works does have a good selection, I particularly like the culture syringes, they will knock up about 8 jars of grain and that will do a insane amount of dowels
your best attack for dual purpose is gonna be sawdust blocks of a woodlover such shitake or well enriched(say with coffee grounds or something else that offers a little more starch than wood) sawdust blocks of one of the agressive oysters such as pleurotus pulmonaris because with sawdust blocks they are nice because you can either use them to knock up logs, or a bed of wood chips or just fruit them then after either use as either of the above or bury them in the yard for a couple more flushes another option is doing oysters on straw, this is super fast with powerful flushes often pinning in less than a week and a half from the time you went to bulk then after you are done fruiting inside mix the spent straw into some yard waste to start a outdoor colony
also, fungi perfti has some cool woodlovers such as conifer coral, this is a good species if you have a bunch of pine that you have nothing else to do with them.

Western Biological The best spawn at the best prices from my experiences, and it's from British Colombia. You'll get there everything you need.

I found their number at DavesGarden , I left a message, but now I am tempted to phone back.
I usually never have cash, but in the next little while I could invest in some serious mushroominess,
