Casing Proposition
    #570091 - 03/04/02 11:28 PM (21 years, 6 months ago)

Would someone let me know if there is a flaw in the following casing plan:

Case Layering is as follows from top to bottom:
___________________________________________

Layer of dry verm
Layer of damp verm
Flattend Half Pint Cake
__________________________________________

Of course I am going to have these suckers in an aquarium with a good seal for rH. Anyone want to suggest the finest way to humidify. Perlite?

Thanks

Neves9,

bottom... 2 or 3 cakes crumbled up.......Layer of damp verm on top.

Or,
bottom... 2 or 3 cakes crumbled up.......top layer of moist Coco Coir.
This is the one i prefer....the Coco Coir.

The easiest way to humidify is perilite.
2" of perilite and get it damp.
