roll in a casing mix?
    #5699807 - 06/01/06 02:09 PM (17 years, 7 months ago)

anybody done it? roll a cake in a casing mix other than the standard straight verm?

i know it sounds silly, but i got some sort of related ideas in the back of my head kicking around here and i'm really just more or less wondering how well it sticks and how thick you can get it on. seems like it would be able to clump a little on all around but it might start falling off if it dried out.

ill probably grab a cake from the fridge later and do it anyway just to see how much of a mess it is, was just curious if somebody already had (and what kind of casing mix you used)...
