Ready to Grow (Almost)
    #569861 - 03/04/02 06:59 PM (21 years, 9 months ago)

I would like some opinions on what strain of P. Cubensis is the most tolerant of newbies. I will be using the PF Tek w/ some MMGG mods. Not going to try casing first time around, just cakes. Terrarium is a Big Ass Coleman Cooler w/ Perlite. Any suggestions/opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

First time I went with matias romero (classic PF strain) and I got what I wanted. Recently, I fucked up some TC, B+ and Classic casings, and a couple B+ cakes.

I dont know what other people are going to say, but I'd go for Matias Romero if its your first time, I've had some luck with them.

To put it in perspective : a friend >has< to produce some mushrooms, and he had a choice between b+, treasure coast and classic, and he inoculated with classic, just because he's going with what he knows.

Good luck bro.
(on the whole though, any strain of cubensis is good, maybe watch out for Puerto Ricans though..?)

I got some PF standard...which I thought were Matias Romero, but now I am starting to wonder!! I am what some people would call a "newbie" and by no means can I identify it...

Matias Romero = PF Classic = Amazonian

I believe.
