Tub idea, will it work?

Okai, the tub in tub would have to be so easy to setup.
But I think this would be even easier.

Its a single tub, with water on bottom, heater in the water, and a wire mesh over the top so the trays can sit out of the water.
Woudlnt this be more effective in keeping the humidty high, and the there would be less temp loss as it doesnt have to travel through another tub. Also theirs is no need for perlite.
You could chuck the bubblers in the bottom for oxgen supply aswell.
Has anyone tried a setup like this before?

Check this out man http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/5276282/an/0/page/0 What your thinking is the monotub. The perlite layer is used in the "poor mans pod" which traditionally is used for cakes. If your using grain or even cakes spawned to a bulk substrate, the monotub is the way to go.
You dont have to use anything to huimidify, because evaporation off the substrate will humidify the terrarium. And your filter material will hold the moisture in, but at the same time allow gas exchange, for fresh air.
And you can use the entire space of the bottom of your tub, so your not confined to trays you can use all the space. I've been reading through here and "the vaults" at mycotopia for many, many, months now and this seems to be easiest.
Best of all there is no need for electricity, except for light to induce fruiting (you can use battery power if necessary), and possibly a fan to blow on one side of the terrarium for gas exchange. But I've seen posts of people not using the fan. Power outages are no problem with this setup it seems.

if I am not mistaken TiT are for inncubating, pmp is for fruiting. Inncubaters do not need humidity. just a consistant temp.

Im talking about a fruiting chamber, just incase any one is getting confused.
Ive always had a TIT for my fruiting chamber, with perlite on the bottom.
But I dont do cakes anymore, just brf/verm cased with coco/verm.
So your saying I can just have one tub, and place my casing on the bottom, and the humidty will be kept high by the case itself? But how am i suppose to keep the temp correct without a TIT setup?
Or do these setup require the room to be at the correct temp?

Search for designs on Poor Mans Pod + PmP Use your TiT to incubate and the PmP to fruit

Okai, from what I can understand.
You take a tub. Put the air pump wands on the bottom, cover with perlite then add some water so it covers the air pump wand, but only comes say half way up the perlite.
Then you have holes in the tub with cotton, so the humidty stays in but FAE is possible.
This way, you can complety neglect it as its self sustained in terms of the humidty and FAE. But this is only going to work if the room the tub is in, is at the correct temp. Does this sound right?

you can also add a fish tank heater in the middle of the PmP to help with the temperature, The air wand will mix the warm water around and the perlite will wick it up to humidify the chamber.
I think geo lite is better here is a pic of my setup
here is a crude pic\diagram You only need to put about a quarter of a tub of geolite
Here you can see four casings sitting on geolite the black cable is the power cable to the heater and there is a air wand at the bottom There is a small light above the lid on a timer. I did'nt put any holes in the tub air seems to escape around the lid adequately
Here are some fruits I got from this PmP setup\

I'm finishing off a grow log right now these fruits were just pulled my first ever attempt at mushroom cultivation. Thanks to all the pros out there
