sorry guys, im REALLY new to the whole mushroom thing. Ive never eaten shrooms before cause ive always been scared i would die from a accidental poisoning. I have picked them and given them to friends.. ive practiced iding them
my friends are still alive.. but here is my question.
if i go get some cow shit and plop it out in my back yard, take some "spore water" (from what i understand its just a spore print scraped into *distilled* water.) and spray it all over the shit, what are the chances of me growing quite a few shrooms.. and if i did, what are the chances of my death by eating the wrong one? I plan on taking P. cubensis, and getting a spore print from it. So i plan on growing p. cubensis...
i might just be retarded, but would this work well? no?

Hey,
well there are quite alot of variables. The way you want to do it, it probably wouldnt work ...
If you live in the south, were your humidity and temps are somewhat high, you could probably do it, but, would want to approach it a different way.
you would most likely want to take some cow patties, pasturize them, and then create a bed made of this manure and straw. Spawn the bed with rye or a brf/verm cake.

ok, lets get hypothetical. I get a 1x1 square (feet) spot i want to just "try" to grow some.. ill probably eat them, cause ive never experienced it. So i buy some rye flour, some verm, water, straw(hay?), and cow manure... i mix them up(how?). I bed that 1x1 square with it (how thick? how deep?). Then to make a sporeprint i just lay a cap gills down on a sheet of paper in a wind free environment, I add the spores to distilled water, i pour it? spray it? all over the bedding. I live in texas, VERY near dallas. So we have mild winters and hot summers, although not TOO hot. Its also usually very humid here. Will i grow shrooms? In advance of your reply angry.. or whoever decides to inform me correctly... thank you alot. I'm learning from this and it seems very neat. Thank you for your cooperation in teaching me, rather than calling me a "noob" idiot and disowning me as an apprentice.
Thank you,

Read teks hey? Grow/Find, look for outdoor stuff. You asked enough questions for about 30 pages of replies that are already documented elsewhere on the site. Look around some.

"Order some golf shoes," I whispered. "Otherwise, we'll never get out of this place alive. You notice these lizards don't have any trouble moving around in this muck - that's because they have ~claws~ on their feet."
