I mean in a metaphorical sense. Some people simply don't find a person to marry.

not believing in God is a dangerous proposition.  He tends to take that pretty personally

and yes, religion serves a purpose, to an extent.  The question is, is that purpose good or evil?  It can be both, but on this planet I see much evil in organized religion.

Doing evil in the name of God is a crime punishable by the worst consequence you can possibly imagine.

So to all those who kill in Jesus' name, and to all those men of the cloth who rape choirboys, I say:  prepare for hot weather, morons

see, that's not what religion is about. you know that. i hope there is a punishment, because they deserve a worse punishment then the "non celestial" sinner. not only is it sick to do shit like that, but to do under the name of a church... that's blasphemy!

"How people could be unsatisfied with exactly what they need is fucking beyond me. How people could have so much and yet still want more, to the point of depriving other people of theirs, is beyond me. Fuck those assholes."

The whole point of being a consumer is to never be satisfied with what you have.  That's why they come out with new versions (styling changes mostly) of cars every year.

You are unsatisfied with what you currently have and wish for your little house on the prairie with your little wife raising a little food to eat.  Why not be happy with what you have now?  Oh that's right, you are just another unsatisfied American consumer.  Admit it... :smirk:

unsatisfied with things that don't last.

in my mind, everything lasts.

sadly, I don't see this in the world.

and hey, a lot of those old cars are prettier than the ones they come out with now

I have a 15 year old car myself, and I love it!

but don't you think the perfect car would last forever, so you'd never have to buy another one?  Of course if it were truly perfect, it would be able to change according to your needs, like the spy hunter car!

that would be cool.  When does that come out?

you're right dude, I'm a spoiled brat.  I see what is in the world and I say: "not good enough.  doesn't come close to my imagination.  you'll have to try harder."

what can I say, I'm a difficult customer

I want a wife, several children, a house in the country with a very large garden, a few dogs, a career as an author, and enough money to travel.

Responding to the title of the thread...

I simply want to live, first and foremost. I seek to focus fully in the present moment and, in doing so, unfold the transformation into divine experience. I seek to constantly change and evolve myself in order to become more prominent of an entity, to have more understanding of reality and to be capable of successfully navigating reality through the depths that I prefer. I strive to work with awareness and to become more conscious, to increase my level of awareness and to directly perceive reality as it presents itself.

I aim to develop myself more physically, to actively pursue a nutritious diet and to carry myself with a better posture and to be more built. I seek to improve my usage of language, with emphasis on verbal usage, and to also learn at least two new languages, one being Norwegian. I would like to increase my intellectual power and my scientific understanding, and to further develop my logic and my ability to reason, and my subsequent philosophy.

I want to further understand and explore musikk. I wish to discover more and more musikk created by others, and I wish to improve my abilities to express myself with musikalsk instruments. I may wish to, at a later point in my life, concentrate solely on my pursuit of musikk, to create musikk and to make it accessible to others, sharing it and performing it.

An ideal glimpse of the future for me would be to live in Norway, perhaps on an island, surrounded by fjords and beautiful mountains. My home would be custom built to my specifications. It would be a work of art itself, and would be the perfect environment for me. It would be complete with a professional recording studio, an amazing living room with a breathtaking view of the mountains and fjords... It would probably be a log home, in fact. I would have enough resources to not have to work, beyond what I would prefer doing (something with musikk, of course), and could enjoy life at my own pace.

I look forward to it, but fully focus on living my life in the moment, actively creating the path that would potentially bring me to that point. I think that I might not be as dedicated to pursuing my goals beyond the short-term ones, which will inevitably assist me, but might fall short... I need to really focus inward and activate, I guess.

Which means, as a first step, I need to get enough rest for tomorrow... Some aspects of myself deny the practical approach that is necessary, but they will soon be dissolved and transcended... I simply need to immerse myself more frequently and more deeply in the Clear Light of Unmitigated Reality, I guess. :mushroom2:

:earth: :sun: :headbang: :satansmoking:
Peace. :mushroom2:

I want to be able to live like I am now but happy.

I don't want the world to end and even the greedy people deserve to be shown the err of their ways so that they may repent and join with the rest of us who are ready for a fresh start on this planet.

No more fascism, especially in America.

All you need is a modest house, in a modest neighborhood.........
all you need is a modest house... in a modest neighborhood........
............ - dredg

I will go ahead and repeat. No more fascism, especially in America.
I want everyone to realize that there IS fascism in America.

I want our leaders to be blessed by the grace of the peaceful divine and to make all decisions from that place within themselves. I want the rule of evil and greed and blasphemy upon this Earth to come to an end..... and frankly it would be fine if all the world leaders stayed in place, I just want them to touch the light and become the light.

....I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow, to feel inspired, to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human......
Om Namah Shivaya, I tell you What!

I want to be a pirate like Johnny Dep. I would owe allegiance to no country and follow the pirates code. :captain: I'd rake in the gold and bury it on a deserted tropical island where me and the boys and girls would live in harmony and party like at Burning Man.

I drive a 25 year old car that gets 35 mpg on the highway and that's a real plus today.

Oddly, your hope is my reality as I just like my house, garden, the beauty of the flowers and the birds and the bees and I am fortunate to live in a pretty peaceful and quiet place.  I have what I want in that area and find peace and joy in living here.

Part of the reason I can afford the house is that I kept the same car for 25 years, changed my own oil, worked my ass off in my job, etc. etc.  Most people don't know how to save money, they only know how to spend it.  Earning it is the easy part, saving it the tough part for many.  I am a saver.

How nice to pull off about 2 ounces of 3 kinds of fresh basil, some dill, chives, 6 different kinds of peppers, 2 kinds of parsley, thyme, oregano and sage fresh from containers growing in my sunny windows and put it into some organic canned tomatoes with some beans and corn and rice.  Yum.  What one reaps one will sow and it is quite easy and cheap to grow some nice fresh herbs that will make any soup or stew or sauce mucho gusto.  But how many people actually plant those little seeds and nurse them along and water them properly?  The cost of two 4 ft lights with bulbs is about $ 90 and herb seeds, soil and containers another $10 so money really isn't a good excuse unless you can't come up with $ 100.

So don't worry about being the spoiled brat wishing for your garden, just grow some nice basil or whatever fresh herbs you like from your  two 4 ft T8 type 32 watts each with Verilux lights and that will be the ticket if you don't have or to supplement a sunny window.

The world today is not getting better but one can only change one's environment and mental outlook if one is willing to be happy with one's station in life and present economic means and residence in spite of it's shortcomings.  Difficult customers are the ones not happy no matter how much money they have.  Maybe you will continue to be a spoiled brat...

 It took me a long time to realize how loving and kind they are. Or at least the singer is.

At the show whenever anyone, at all, would cheer toward him, give him signs of acceptance, flash the "devil horns" at him, etc, he'd look at them and wave if he noticed.

He did to me.
